When it comes to promoting food, you have to give the people who write about it the opportunity to get as close to the products as possible.

As well as meeting them face-to-face, we also make regular deliveries of fruit and information to the journalists and bloggers with whom we work.

Our latest boxes – sent in the UK and France – contained Peruvian Hass avocados and recipe suggestions, to encourage some experimentation beyond simply adding salad dressing and eating (delicious though this is!). It’s a great way to give first hand experience of products – as well as getting feedback on them from key influencers.
